Erik Faura (Cupra Baporo Motorsport) has concluded the Andorra Hill Climb Championship securing the runner-up position in Group 4 of Touring Cars, a milestone achieved after completing a season marked by consistency.
The young driver confirmed his second-place finish at the fourth and final event of the championship, the Beixalís Climb, where he finished third among the Touring Cars.

From less to more
Faura approached the day with the aim of defending his second position in the championship. After some practice sessions where he lost ground to his rivals, the Cupra driver gradually increased the pace during the official climbs until he positioned himself among the fastest in the category.
In the final classification at Beixalís, only Gerard de la Casa and Mikel Azcona finished ahead of Faura among the saloon vehicles. The Andorra Data Protec driver completed the last two scoring climbs with a total time of 3:28.790, a record that allowed him to finish sixth in the overall ranking.
These results allow Faura to conclude a particularly solid season. With 27 points, he finishes second in Group 4 of Touring Cars, surpassed only by Gerard de la Casa, who has been crowned champion with 34 points. The third final position has gone to Marc Mateo with 24 points.
A great season
Beyond his group classification, Faura has also finished in eighth place overall in the CAAM with 57 points.
For Faura, securing the runner-up spot is a fitting end to a season where consistency and progression have been two of his main pillars. The Beixalís Climb, in this regard, reflected a campaign in which the driver has managed to stay among the protagonists of Group 4 until securing his final second place.
